Located above Bury, Walmersley Golf Club, established in 1906, has transformed over the years to reach it's current state; an 18 hole moorland course, situated on undulating terrain, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The course has some hazards, presented by bunkers on the approach to the greens.
