Lancaster Golf Club

What we say
The home of Lancaster Golf Club is Ashton Hall which dates back to medieval times and has hosted royalty in centuries gone by. So on and off the golf course, Lancaster Golf Club is a pretty special place, the historic clubhouse definitely doing justice to James Braid's attractive, gently undulating parkland course on the Lune Estuary.
The backdrop to the golf course Braid laid out in 1932 is formed by the beautiful lakeland mountains to the north and, to the east, the rolling heather clad hills of the Trough of Bowland.
Even Anne Robinson would struggle to find a weak link hole at Lancaster, the stars of the show being the classic dogleg 9th and the demanding 17th - known as 'Braids Best.'
Lancaster's Dormy accommodation comprises 18 beds in 11 rooms ( 5 single, 5 twin, and a triple) and they're all en-suite.
