What we say
Ramsey Golf Club was founded in 1891, the original course being laid out by Old Tom Morris. It is set in front of a stunning background of the northern hills. The course was modified by George Lowe, and then in 1926 was re-designed by another golfing legend, James Braid. In recent times it was re-worked to a plan of Steve Marnoch.
It is a parkland course and presents a serious golfing challenge, the 1st and 18th Holes being particularly demanding.
