Antrobus Golf Course

What we say
The Antrobus Golf Club is a challenging layout set in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside amidst natural water hazards and plenty of wooded areas.
The golf club was formed in 1992 and the first nine holes were opened in August 1993. At its opening the golf club already had 400 members including England cricketers Michael Atherton and Neil Fairbrother, to name a couple!
1994 saw the number of holes increased to 14 and in 1995 the final four holes were completed after a monumental task of building over the existing Antrobus motor racing circuit - these holes are among the best on the golf course.

The course has matured beyond belief and is great with all the water features to take into play. The driving range has been nicely updated with a new teaching bay. The bar and clubhouse is friendly and all the members are laid back. A great place!

Every time we play this course we have a great day. Just a short course at 5600 Yds with wide fairways and nice greens. We have played other courses in the North West but this is our favourite. Give it a try it will not dissapoint.

Recently joined Antrobus, what more could you ask for? Easily the most reasonably priced course in the area you will not find better value for your money in the Warrington area. Ok the facilities are limited but has a driving range (£2 for 44 balls) and free chipping area and putting green. Barstaff and club pro are extremely friendly and you get none of the snobbiness you get with some of the clubs in the area. Societies just can't get in at the moment which says alot about the great staff, great food and beer and of course the course itself. A great short and hard first 9 and a long and sweet second 9 both kept in smashing condition. Highly recomended

Great layout, still a young course but maturing very nicely. Some great holes. I am looking forward to going back there next year. Facilies very good and staff very welcoming. Still early in the season when I played it be the tees and greens were in good condition.

beautiful course with many very challenging holes. the course is in very good condition however the greens are slightly bobbly. the members are very laid back and welcoming and the club house is very nice. one bad point to the club is the putting green. it does not simulate the greens on the course at all. it is far too undulating and is not the same speed than the greens on the course. overall the club is a very good and has a very good range of facilities.
