South Staffordshire Golf Club

What we say
Originally designed by one of the famous triumvirate, Harry Vardon, and 'tweaked' by such golfing luminaries as Harry Colt, James Braid and, more recently Donald Steel, South Staffordshire Golf Club presents a challenge to both the low and higher handicap player.
Many of the holes remain of original and timeless character but a programme of gentle improvements has been embarked upon to cater for modern day equipment.
Indeed playing what has matured into a gently rolling parkland golf course, it is difficult to believe it is so close to the centre of Wolverhampton and the motorway network, which is why the club is perfectly situated for corporate golf days and visiting societies.

This is a absolute cracking golf course kept in a great condition with good tees and greens. Very friendly welcome by staff and members. Course is let down only by the fact there is no water to lose your ball in. Would recommend this course to all ability of players.
