Ingon Manor Hotel & Golf Club

What we say

You won’t need the constitution of a mountain goat to play at Ingon Manor Hotel & Golf Club but it will probably help! It’s a pleasant enough 13-years-old parkland track though you need to be physically fit and able to walk it as there are a number of steep climbs, starting from the long, uphill par-4 3rd known as Hill of Hope… hopefully you won’t have run out of steam by this early stage. But, on the bright side, there’s a fleet of buggies available if you’re not up to the walking task while of golf course what goes up must come down: when you eventually get to the highest points you’ll be rewarded with some stunning countryside vistas as well as the opportunity to drive the short par 4 4th…it’s downhill all the way. When we visited, the golf course had taken a pounding from the elements but remained in good overall condition with the greens particularly impressive.

Ingon Manor Hotel & Golf Club's 18 hole golf-course boasts full irrigation systems and USGA specification greens and is open all the year round. Particular care has been taken to maintain the natural beauty of the Welcombe Hills, the planting of more than 50,000 trees and the use of lakes helping to create areas that are ecologically friendly.

was greeted with a warm welcome in pro shop but didnt care much for the loud rap music coming  from the sound system. greens and tees in great nick dispite the horrid weather conditions. and was given free  bucket of range balls . well worth a visit and will be returning soon.

  • 4 out of 5 WELL LAID OUT COURSE - WORTH PLAYING

I'm a beginner at this addictive sport so was apprehensive at what, to me, seemed a long course. Playing on a Friday after heavy rain the night before the course was in imaculate condition. I found all the holes challenging but they do not demoralise a beginner as the fairways are generous and the rough is also forgiving when that wayward shot takes flight. The welcome from Members was friendly with many a "Good Morning" being exchanged. The disapointing part was the "Apres Golf" as the service in the bar/eating area was slow even though it was noy busy. Will definately play the course again.

Greens were quick despite drainage work going on. Overall the course was in good nick and has a good varity of holes; long, short, up, down, water, some wide fairways some narrow fairways, lots of bunkers - a good mix. Good elevation too and great views and a cheap day out with a 2 for 1 voucher.

Good value. Open fairways leading to well protected greens. The greens are undulating and can be difficult to read. Great views of the Avon and nearby Stratford. Relaxed clubhouse

Very well laid out course with some challenging holes even for a beginner. Enjoyed playing there and will hopefully play there again. Clubhouse and pro shop are excellent aswell.
