For a course en-circled by houses and the A34 it is a good course. Some very good holes with the 2nd, with a huge bomb hole infront of the green, go down there and the green disappears. Some very good par thres esp 4th, 6th and 18th. Played here about 12 times now and greens range from very good( most of the time) to more than a little dodgy. Fairways sit the ball up nicely to get a hit away. Welcome in clubhouse is mostly good and food available. Like most private courses you do get the odd comment that vistors should not be on the course but that is to be expected and not put anybody off. If this course was in the middle of the countryside it would get an higher "wow factor" but you never quite get away from the thought that your next shot could end up in someones backyard, or on someones dinner table if your slice is really bad.!! Recommend all to play as the course is a good challenge to all levels but not the best in the area.
