What we say
Excellent off-course facilities complement the scenic views over the Trent and Dove valleys
What The Craythorne provides is a challenging parkland course which is easy walking with a selection of tight holes and well protected greens. Originally the design was a 9 hole layout which was re-routed in 1983 to become 18 holes. Over 5000 trees, 75,000 tonnes of soil, irrigation system, two ponds, 15 new tees and 5 new greens have been introduced in the past 16 years.
There are 5 par three’s and only one par 5 but this relatively short course is well guarded by a variety of obstacles to challenge both the advanced and starting golfer.
Society packages are available.

After I first played this course I knew this is where I wanted to play each week. It is a very tight tricky course with several very intresting holes. It is a challenging course with everything you would exect from a course like this. The greens are a little slow but are true and there are a couple of astro teas on the par 3's but apart from this it is a very well maintained course.

Challenging course with monster par 3s. Signature par 3 is over 220 yards. Greens a little slow, but a great challenge
