The variety of trees and their colours greets you at Ingestre, which makes it even more amazing considering the course has only been there for some 30 years. The Greens were excellent some sloping some undulating and are obviously benefiting from a recently installed sprinkler system. The course itself is tree lined parkland easy on your feet but not easy on the grey matter as you have to pick your way around. The food in the club house was very good and we enjoyed our meal on a balcolny sitting over the practise put area over looking the eighteenth green. A most enjoyable course, I have no hesitation in recommending a game at Ingestre to anyone.
