What we say
It may be on the short side but this mature undulating parkland course is fairly tight and the greens are quite small too so you have to be spot-on with both your course management and approach play. However, solid strikers will fancy their chances of finding at least one of several driveable par-4s.
Oundle Golf Club's par 72, 18-hole parkland golf course established in 1893 is a delight to play. The golf course welcomes societies, visitors and provides the usual facilities expected of a members' club.
The clubhouse was extended in 2005 to accommodate a new staircase block, including a lift to the first-floor bar and restaurant. There's also a roof terrace accessed from the bar and lounge and a fully refurbished interior consisting of men's and ladies' changing rooms. The course is suitable for all levels of golfer.
Accommodation: The Talbot and The Ship Inn in Oundle, The Wheatsheaf in Upper Benefield and The Wheatsheaf in Titchmarsh are all local.
