Kilworth Springs Golf Club

What we say
Kilworth Springs Golf Club was established in 1993 and overlooks the beautiful Avon Valley in South Leicestershire. It is a superbly sculptured links-style golf course offering all the best features and facilities for a great day's golf.
The greens are built to USGA construction standards. The front nine offers a traditional links challenge, whilst the back nine, with its numerous lakes, adds water to the challenge.
With wide fairways and the addition of thick rough and gorse between holes, the golf course offers a true challenge to professional and amateurs alike. Incidentally, the longstanding club pro at Kilworth is highly successful amateur golfer Gary Wolstenholme.
The venue also boasts a 19 bay driving range while the fleet of buggies have the GPS system installed.

Have played here a few times, always when it's been cold and windy, but enjoyed it. Good facilities. The first half of the course is exposed and with a links feel - mounds and humps and some long rough. The back 9 is mainly at a lower level and has a different feel with water coming into play. A few areas look a bit scruffy but who cares - it's a good course that plays well and is good value.
