This nine-hole field (sorry, course) is awful. The layout is OK, but that’s where the positives end. The clubhouse resembles a working men’s club, tee-offs are from damaged mats, fairways are weedy and greens are spongy and uncut. One to avoid – even at £7 a knock.

Blaby Golf Centre offers a wide range of facilities even after you have played your round of golf. These include a large clubhouse with two pool tables and a full size snooker table.
