The Herefordshire Golf Club

What we say
The Herefordshire Golf Club started life back in the 19th Century! In 1896 the Broomy Hill course started out. It remained there till 1911 when it made the move to the Holmer site. The final move to the beautiful Ravens Causewaysite , which is part of the Foxley estate, and was made in 1932. In 1968 the club purchased the golf course from the estate and now owns approx. 130 acres of stunning countryside which has led to obvious comparisons with the world-famous Scottish venue, Gleneagles, where many major tournaments have taken place. The course at the Herefordshire Golf Club is suitable for all levels of golfer!

I've played at the Herefordshire (Wormsley) a few times and its always a good day out. The course is attractive, has some great holes, particularly those in the middle of the round. The 16th & 17th holes are termed as the Valley of Death and is appropriately named because of the straightness required off the tee. The Clubhouse is good and proshop well stocked. Its a relatively friendly Club. Definately worth a visit.
