Really nice well kept course. Interesting holes on there. A little costly but worth the occasional visit. Open and a little forgiving.

Looks like a very inviting, old fashioned course when you go through the entrance to Hintlesham Hall, and it seems exactly that when you walk into the pro-shop then clubhouse. I had booked a two-ball using a voucher and was quoted @ £20ea over the phone, yet when it came to paying the same gentleman tried to charge £25ea so not a good first impression of the place. No different in the clubhouse either where it took an age to get served unless you were recognisable, a regular or member maybe? Out on the course tho, where it matters...Hintlesham is a very well kept course in obvious good condition, although very open it is very tough with the greens especially difficult to read...unfortunately there were no apparent standout or signature holes, just a pleasant course that will test every type of golfer...I wouldn't however pay the £40 a round price, but will be back (using a voucher for £20 not £25)

Not a massive course by modern standards but challenging with lovely views.Good practice facilities, the clubhouse and pro shop are very good with the food reasonably priced and very tasty. Some of the yellow tees are very uneven especially the 18th but this is a minor fault really compared to the rest of the course. As a member the only problem is the amount of times we can't get a round due to corporate, society and charity days especially in the summer. All in all a lovely course, facilities and staff and well worth the visit - just don't tell everyone!!!

Extremely open with lush fairways and light roughs, Greens are well kept to a good length. Only issue is deep rough, if you find it you wont find your ball. Other than that it is an extremely good course for all types of players.
