  • 4 out of 5 Great little course

    By Reamer

A lovely course...we played after a few weeks of,on and off heavy rain...but the course was still great, ok a couple of boggy patches but im nip picking. Set out requires strategic golf at times. Very picturesque. Signs to tees could be fractionally better. Otherwise i love this course and will definitely be going back. Would of given 5* if our party of 4 were not told to hurry up and keep up with the the 3 ball in front...annoyed me a bit...bearing in mind the 3 ball in front were members and no-one in our 4 ball had played it before.

  • 5 out of 5 A gem in the Suffolk countryside!

The club is very friendly and the course is a joy to play. Has recently had a major overhaul and the greens and fairways are looking great and have been better defined. Whilst not being the longest course it does offer a challenge for all golfers. The par 4 13th is the biggest challenge as your 2nd shot is most likely to be blind unless you are really big hitter! the green is surrounded by bunkers so most would take a par. As you trundle round you can take in the splender of the many beautiful views. The wildlife around the course helps add to the charm ... on quieter days /evenings you can often feel like you are cut off from the world thinking that just maybe you've arrived in paradise!

  • 4 out of 5 Well worth a visit!

A gem of a course tucked away in rural Suffolk and offers a challenge to all handicappers. Many of the tees are either at the top of vast valleys offering excellent view points and a stern test of wits and club selection. Greens are in great condition and the newly designed 18th green with water surrounding the rear and heavily bunkered to the front provide a well earned drink in the 19th which is also well kitted out. A warm welcome has always been recieved on the times I have played there.
