Excellent throughout the year due to good drainage. I would class it as a mix of challenging and attractive holes but always good to play, backed up by really friendly staff.

A lovely course. Great set out, picturesque. Nice bar and staff. Reasonable price for golf and food.

Enjoyed a very friendly welcome and made the most of the excellent facilities here including the driving range which has been made to resemble a course with flags and bunkers etc to aim at or avoid which ever the case maybe, the putting green is also of a good standard as it's tiered, unlike many a practice green!!! Once out on the course you see how open it is, allowing you to open the shoulders and let loose from most tee's, don't be fooled into thinking that this makes it a relatively easy challenge as these thoughts will come back to haunt you as they did me and my playing patner on several occasions. The course is in very good condition from tee to green with many approach shots to the green being the biggest challenge, due in main to the hazards that carefully protect the often raised and undulating greens. The 8th and 9th holes are the signature holes of the course, with large trees in the centre of the landing area from you're tee shot on the 8th and a lovely view of the hole and Hotel Complex from the tee on the 9th, the front 9 seemed a little longer and more challenging than the back 9 but if the wind gets up then the majority of the holes provide a stern test for all standards. All in all a great experience and becomes an absolute bargain if using 2-fore-1 or greenfree vouchers as you pay £15each for a day's golf...I am lucky enough to live within 5mins of the complex so will be returning time and time again, even if it's just to smash some balls in the range!!!

A very frendly welcome to a beautiful course. This is a very hilly course which is suprising for suffolk. The course is harder in the summer as the rough grows longer. Also during the summer the fairways can be very dry, the course is very well drained, of course in winter this makes the course one of the best to play. Excellent course with a very friendly atmosphere.

Played the course between Christmas and New Year.. Thoroughly enjoyed it although longer than my own course.. Facilities were excellent.... Greens and Tees in good condition although weather had not been too good. Plenty of water to keep your wits about you.... Loved the short par 3's
