Sleaford Golf Club

What we say

It’ kept in tip-top condition, with excellent fairways and good paced greens. Excellent clubhouse and facilities. The star hole is the 284-yard, par-4 6th, a stream on the left and OB right can take their toll.

Situated in the delightful Lincolnshire countryside, within easy reach of the A1 and other major trunk roads, Sleaford Golf Club is a challenging golf course and outstanding venue for society events for golfers of all standards and ages.

Built on well-draining sandy soil with many features resembling a links golf course, the general terrain is flat and easy walking for golfers of all ages. Even in conditions where many other golf courses are forced to close, golfers at Sleaford Golf Club return from their round of golf with relatively clean shoes!

  • 5 out of 5 Always a pleasure

    By Streaky

Once again my visit with three partners was excellent. From the initial enquiry through to our game you could not fault the organization. We have now been back several times, also the Golf Society that I play with has now put Sleaford as a must every summer. The staff for pro shop to bar and catering are very friendly and courteous. Also the members are very welcoming and make you feel that they want you there rather than being an inconvenience, which at some clubs is the case. If I lived nearer Sleaford it would be my choice for membership. And not forgetting that the course itself is a joy to play.

  • 4 out of 5 Good Links style course

    By Steve Ashforth

I played on a dry, very windy day, but it was still an enjoyable round. The course itself is very 'linksy'. The rough is fair, but can bite in certain places. It may have been due to the dry weather, but I found the greens extremely fast. However, they were true & in excellent condition, as was the whole course.
