Three Rivers Golf & Country Club

What we say
Three Rivers Golf Club boasts two 18-hole golf courses, each with its own distinct character.
The Kings Course is the longer of the two, while its sister course, the Jubilee consists of Par-3's and Par-4's.
The Kings course features many water hazards that'll be sure to catch out any wild shots. Playing from the fairways is a must round here as the rough can be difficult to contend with, but being nearly 6,500 yards long, you can't really afford to totally sacrifice distance for accuracy. There are a couple of blind tee shots to contend with, but the course certainly sets up for an enjoyable round.
The Jubilee is a Par-64 course made up of ten Par-4's and eight Par-3's, and being quite short, this course certainly favours newcomers to the game. However, the undulating greens that have been constructed to exacting USGA specs, help to provide an alternative test of golf compared to the Kings and so the Jubilee poses problems for all levels of golfers.
Three Rivers Golf & Country Club is the perfect setting to enjoy a challenging and enjoyable game of golf.
The Club boasts two superb 18 Hole golf courses, each with its own distinctive character. Experience for yourself, just how enjoyable playing at Three Rivers can be.

I played at the Three Rivers golf & country club for the first time after a friend discovered the Summer Sizzlers special offers on the clubs website. For £25.00 we received 18 holes on the par 72 Kings course followed by ham egg & chips and a pint of lager. There were also options to add breakfast, or take the same deal on the jubilee course for £15.00. On our arrival we received a very warm & friendly welcome from the staff in the extremely well stocked pro shop, before being shown through into the very comfortable bar/restaurant area. Other food, drinks & snacks were also available. The Kings course was fantastic, even though it hasn't stopped raining for almost a week. The course was built in 1972 and has matured nicely, with beautiful tall trees lining many of the fairways. The grass on the tees was kept nice & short, as were the undulating fairways. The rough was rough enough without being too long, allowing you to find your ball if you strayed from the fairway. The greens were in very good condition & fairly quick. Quite refreshingly for this type of club, the members we met on the course were extremely friendly & helpful, happy to discuss their membership, the course and the club in general. On our return to the clubhouse we were served in the spike bar by the helpfull staff. The food was lovely & there was plenty of it. the pint was well deserved. My experience was a good one & I cant wait to return. Membership was around £58 for a 5 day membership which allowed play Mon-Fri on Kings & Mon-Sun on the Jubilee. This also allows you to play at Stock Brook Manor
