Rochford Hundred Golf Club

What we say
Rochford Hundred is certainly a unique and very historical venue for a golf course. The clubhouse was built around 1480 and was once the family home of Anne Boleyn who was Henry VIII's wife and the Queen of England from 1533 to 1536.
In 1924 the course was re-designed by famous course designer James Braid and to this day the course retains many of his typical features.
Good scores can be had round here but you must be hot with the putter. The success of most rounds depends largely on your ability to pick out the green's subtle borrows.
A lovely course that's well looked after, Rochford Hundred is a little gem in the heart of Essex.
