What we say
Orsett Golf Club was first opened in 1899 and the 18-hole course was originally designed by James Braid, well-known for his work at Gleneagles at Carnoustie.
Orsett is always in great shape and is a regional qualifying course for The Open.
Come rain or shine, the course has a reputation for its year-round playing surface.
Make sure to take advantage of the front nine around this track as the course gets progressively harder, especially the last three holes, which are some of the most challenging finishing holes in Essex.
Opened in 1899, Orsett Golf Club features an 18 hole course, originally designed by James Braid. The course includes a generous helping of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees, providing a challenging game for all levels of golfer.
