Lords Golf and Country Club – Rayleigh/The Duke
Last updated:
What we say
The golf club opened its doors and greens for the first time in 1991 as the Hanover Golf Club with the course designed by the renowned Reg Plumbridge. It quickly developed an excellent reputation and was acquired by the Churchgate Group in 2006 which promptly embarked on a massive investment programme to take the club to an exciting new level.
Something For Every Golfing Enthusiast
Whether just embarking on the wonderful road of discovery that is golf, or looking to fine-tune that tumbling handicap, Lords has something for every golfing enthusiast. With two 18-hole courses, a 15-bay covered floodlit driving range open early until late, professional tuition, a new pro shop and a superb new members' room which is the envy of all other clubs, Lords is now recognised as one of the region’s most sought-after clubs.
