The course designer, Neil Coles MBE, aimed to enhance the rolling landscape of the surrounding countryside by creating a course with interesting features and landscaping. Water is the predominant feature of this course coming into play on nine of the 18 holes with the fairways benefiting from an irrigation system. The generous fairways, large greens and water hazards provide a great test for golfers and ensure every club in the bag is used.

    i'm an 18 handicapper and this was my first time playing a large course, as i am use to playing at castle point. it was quite a hard course to play and very long. it makes you think a lot and some of the greens are hard to get at. Overall a great course and a great day out. play early morning to avoid delays
