What we say
Braintree Golf Club was founded in 1891, the third oldest club in Essex and moved to its present site in June 1973. It is a par 70 parkland golf course featuring tree lined fairways, water hazards and fast true greens.
Braintree Golf Club has been on the East of England PGA tour circuit since 1992 and is regarded by professionals and amateurs alike as a golf course that demands accurate ball striking and good golf course management.
The clubhouse provides excellent facilities including a professional golf shop, plus bar and restaurant facilities that are open throughout the day for your enjoyment and appetite.

This is a very well cared for course with some interesting holes. The only thing against playing here is the extortionate green fees compared to other similar courses in the area. £52.00. Its a good job I had 2 for 1 voucher. I can only assume they don't want visitors. Shame.
