Set in 164 acres of mature parkland in the centre of Basildon, the 18 hole course has long been acknowledged as a quality course for golfers of all abilities.

With a new management being brought in over the last couple of years, Basildon Golf Course has had a lot of work done to it and most would agree that it was for the better.

The attractive undulating countryside affords some excellent views of the town and surrounding areas as you begin your descent back to the clubhouse.

    A mature parkland course with tree-lined fairways and few bunkers. Buggies available for hire now. The rough has been cut down in many areas so finding your stray ball is more likely now. 2 long par 3's and a couple of tricky par 4's make for a very interesting and challenging round. Work has started on the clubhouse extension which can only improve matters and see this course return to being one of the most interesting to play in South Essex. Compared to just 1 year ago it is almost unrecognisable !
