Complacency or lapses in concentration here can land you in serious trouble. The name gives you a big clue and sure enough there’s loads of water about: it features on eight holes so Wyboston needs to be treated with the utmost respect. Or else! Make sure you load up with balls though you can save a few quid by playing on Mondays or Tuesdays (year-round £12.50 green fee between 8am-midday).

Wyboston Lakes Golf Centre is a superb 18 hole, par 70 golf course set in 350 acres of picturesque countryside amongst lakes and alongside the banks of the River Great Ouse. The 5955 yards long course offers some challenging holes for all standards of golfer, including the 3rd, 5th and 7th which are testing par 3s surrounded by water.

A warm, friendly welcome is given to all visitors, whether you visit as part of a corporate group or golf society, or if you come on a casual basis for ‘Pay and Play’ golf.
 
We welcome golf societies of all sizes and a variety of different packages are available to suit all budgets. Whether you want to start the day with breakfast before playing 18 holes, or if you prefer to play 27 or 36 holes with lunch and dinner included, we guarantee superb food freshly prepared on-site by our award-winning chefs. An excellent choice of mouth-watering menus is available for you to choose from.
 
Wyboston Lakes Golf Centre is also the ideal location for holding corporate golf days and we can accommodate groups of 12 – 140 golfers with private dining, if required.
 
Our floodlit driving range is open to everyone, offering you the opportunity to practice your swing. If you need any help in developing your technique, we have three PGA professionals who can provide golf lessons and advice on how to improve your game. Using the latest state-of-the-art swing analysis system, they can also offer guidance on the best golf clubs to use to enhance your game.

  Love this course, not a handicap golfer, just love playing, have played here twice and lost three balls into water on first each time!!! But that's why I like this course, you have to think about each hole. Going to try again on Tuesday.

   2nd review of this course as 6 players went. Found that the course was still wet in places after the rain (still playing with temp greens in places)  - but this should be a lovely course in the late spring/summer months, which all decided would be the best time to play. Clubhouse has been moved since last played, but the facilities include massive wall mounted TV - 6 Nations Rugby 2011 was on at the time.

  Played there on 14th Nov 2009. 1st time visiting and only managed to play 13 holes as the weather was treacherous. Losts of water and challenging holes, problem was as we got wetter so did some parts of the course on the greens & fairways - bunkers always do :) We all agreed that for the price the course was good value & we shall definitely be going again in warmer weather.
