John O’Gaunt Golf Club (John O’Gaunt Course)

What we say
John O’Gaunt Golf Club’s main golf course has long enjoyed a reputation as being the best layout in Bedfordshire (admittedly not saying much) and we’re sure anybody who’s had the pleasure of teeing it up here won’t disagree. It’s a mature golf course that makes up for a lack of scenery with tricky raised greens and tree-lined fairways. Pick of the holes is probably the dogleg, par 5, 17th which weaves its way round onto a raised green that sits on a mound that was once a Roman castle.
A really fun course to play and kept in great condition.
John O'Gaunt Golf Club has matured naturally over many years, providing players with carpet-like fairways and true greens. It runs over gently undulating terrain, with 18 holes overlooked by mature trees. A slow-moving river winds its way across the fairways of four holes providing an excellent water feature.
The John O'Gaunt layout is ably backed up by the 18-hole 5,869 yards par 69 Carthagena golf course.
If you're a guest playing with a member of the club, you can get discounts on your green fee and you can play at anytime on the weekend.
