Beadlow Manor Hotel Golf and Country Club – The Baron
Last updated:
What we say
With trickier, more undulating greens and even more water hazards and bunkers, the Baron course is generally regarded as the more difficult of the two courses Beadlow Manor has to offer.
As the course that played host to the 1998 County Championships, it's also much longer than its sister course, coming in at over 6,600 yards, making this a venue for golfers who love both a challenge and a fair price!

We played on the 19th and i have to say for £15 it is really good value. More interesting and more challenging than the other course, apart from a couple of small things there was not much to dislike about this course. Quite a variety of holes and some very impressive greens for this time of year, quick but receptive and smooth. Nicely laid out and far better than most courses i have played for a similar price with my only gripes being poor quality or no signs for the next tee at various points and the visitors changing rooms being in poor condition. I am told with the hotel it makes for a decent place to stay for the weekend to play some golf.

Not the best course in the world, but you can find a real bargain here with its cheap golf, cheap accomodation, good food and good looking bar staff! The courses are in ok condition and provide a good test of golf.
