Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands
Last updated:
What we say
Not the longest, but it has some really tricky holes that will test your accuracy off the tee.
Splendid gently undulating parkland layout which made a dramatic May, 7, 1914, opening – a special train from London was laid on for an exhibition match featuring golfing greats Ted Ray, Alex Herd and Tom Ball. Nowadays Aspley tends to get overlooked by the world-famous Woburn G&CC just down the road but remains a serious challenge in its own right, the dramatic par-3 10th over a shrub-filled valley being particularly threatening.
