DESCRIPTION: This links-style course is on an island which is only two miles wide and eight miles long. The Long Island Sound comes into play on nine holes, and seven ponds are threats on the rest of the holes. Architect Tom Doak said: “I cannot deny that on a breezy summer’s day, Fishers Island is one of the most idyllic places possible for a round of golf.”
