DESCRIPTION: One of the finest courses on the Open rota, Golf World also rates it the No.1 in England. The conditioning is immaculate, and the design makes full use of the high dunes as ribbons of fairway cut through the wild grasses, ending at some subtle, contoured greens (discounting the 17th, which was redone for the 2008 Open).
