CLUB COMMENT: Continued to put in new tees, also added and refurbished bunkers. Completely revamped the 2nd hole, which has two ponds as opposed to a ditch. Doing more work this winter.
Tom Dunn sculpted the course out of fairly uninspiring heather and gorse-laden land in 1893 – the first course of its type in the area. It requires strategic striking, as the bunkers are well positioned and the heather exceptionally penal. The finishing hole, with a pond to the right of the green, is well-liked by local players.
