One of Scotland’s finest inland courses for many years and is an extremely picturesque test among pine, birch and heather. That is hardly a surprise given Britain’s two foremost architects, Mackenzie and Braid, designed nine holes each. It has a woodland and heathland feel to it with the signature hole the 17th, a par 3 called ‘Plateau’ which has a two-tiered green.
