CLUB COMMENT: We have used the time to allow all the Fazio improvements to season and mature while shifting focus to reducing ryegrass from our fine turf surfaces. This has been achieved using a new and highly selective herbicide, Resue, which removes ryegrass while leaving the fine grasses unaffected. This process is then followed by an aggressive fescue overseeding programme. The results have been spectacular.
