An amazing place to play, a brilliant test for any golfer and very welcoming too. The history of the place speaks for itself.

Hillside

Possibly the best back nine I’ve ever played. You can’t miss a fairway here without nding some trouble!

Formby

Another coastal layout, this time with the best front nine I’ve ever played! This year-round course is mercifully sheltered from the wind.

Clitheroe

A beautiful parkland course and my home club for 20 years. Always immaculate, very tight and challenging yet satisfying and enjoyable.

Royal Lytham & St Annes

Another top links, always in fabulous condition. Definitely a contender for the hardest course in Lancashire.

Fairhaven

Links that feels like a parkland; play it and you will understand. The course has lots of bunkers yet I always feel if you’re playing well you will score well here.

Ormskirk

A gorgeous course – very similar to Clitheroe with tight fairways and well kept greens. Ormskirk holds extra sentimental value for me as it is where I won the County Championship with a nal round course record of 63.

Pleasington

Another fine, well established parkland with some of the nest holes you can experience. You’ll also enjoy the beautiful views off almost every tee.
