Sudbury
A top test of golf owing to the fact you’re bound to be playing from some dif cult sloping lies. Sudbury boasts a great set of par 4s.

Fulwell
Mature par-71 parkland course with tree-lined fairways and quality greens and it’s always in top condition too.

Wyke Green
This well-established parkland course has the toughest nishing four holes in the county and down the years has challenged gol ng legends such as Gary Player and Greg Norman.

Northwood
This gently rolling par-71 parkland celebrated its 125th anniversary last year and weaves between mature woodland. Watch out for some severe green undulations.

Muswell Hill
Founded in 1893, this course has hosted all kinds of regional and county competitions and offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities with some terri c risk-and-reward holes.

West Middlesex
Another course with loads of history – it was re-designed by the legendary James Braid in 1910 and has a strong set of short holes though, in my view, the star hole is the brilliant par-4 13th.

Crews Hill
I’ve happy memories of this Harry Colt parkland which is very tricky to play so I was delighted to win the county championship here last year.

Something of a hidden gem neighbouring Hampstead Heath and close to central London and you de nitely need to know your way around here to score well.
