Real De Faula Levante Golf Club, the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, opened in early 2006. Jack's use of the rocky canyons found in the natural terrain lend the layout almost a desertlike feel. He has also used a freestyle approahc to bunkering and his trademark elevated tees make sure it is all visible in front of you. New, but destined for success.

  This course has real potential. Some fantastic varied holes and stunning views. Clubhouse now almost ready and will officially open 1/11/06. The only critism I had was the greens. They are new and need time to mature, hence they were not cut too short and therefore slower than you normally find in Spain. Other than that no complaints. I will leave two tips though. 1) Ask for a discount as you are likely to get one. I paid via a website and got a reduction but a guy I played with negotiated a slightly better deal with receptionist. 2) Take time to visit the hotel. It will take your breath away. Have a drink outside overlooking one of the several huge pools and overlooking Benidorm and the Med. Absolute luxury.

  Best Course I have ever played, still only new so the greens are settling down but this will be one of the top courses in spain, play it now before its £200 a round
