The 27 holes at Costa Ballena Golf Club are the handiwork of Jose-Maria Olazabal. This is a resort layout with flat, wide fairways protected by sentinel palms. Water plays its part on several holes, and a couple run alongside the sea. Practice facilities are top notch;Tour pro Ignacio Garrido uses this as a practice base.

    A nice enough course and in good condition but very manicured and American. A lot of the holes feel the same. But good facilities and a good course if you like that sort of thing...
