What we say
Rio Real Golf Course gets its name from the river that meanders through the golf course on its way to the Med. The 1965 layout is the work of Javier Arana, Spain's foremost course designer, and he has created an easily-walked golf course which most players will be able to cope with. The nearby sea is visible from the elevated parts of the golf course.

Played this on 30/05/2010 with 8 mates. Wonderful tree lined course with the Real River coming into to play on several of the fairways. The tees, fairways and greens were all in wonderful condition. A course you can easily walk if you haven't over done the San Miguels the night before. Our only down side was two of the group were robbed of there euro's while having a quick shower. They even left the Brittish money in one of the wallets and only took the Euro's ! Great course just hang onto your valuables at all times.

A very good course in great condition. Tree lined fairways make it a joy to play. Not too long and ideal for those who've had a night out! Can be walked but buggies are never too far away from your ball.

Great place. I'll be back...

From the welcome, the breakfast and the superb help we received, the course was a joy to play and it has the most fantastic greens, which can prove to be a test in its self. Loved every minute of the day

I played here in October 2006 with a group of 16, after having played around 25 courses in the Costa Del Sol. A fantastic parkland golf course that will satisfy golfers of all abilities – not too difficult but no-one’s gonna burn it up! Definitely in the top 5 courses I have played in Spain – slightly more expensive than most of it’s competitors, but well worth it. Would definitely play again!

Quite a flat course with beautifully kept greens, tees and fairways. Well thought out holes, although not particularly long. Overall a very nice course and well worth a visit.

Great fun, VERY hilly, do take a buggy. There a some great holes on the course, and the river comes into play right from the first tee shot. Take plenty of balls. Clubhouse is good, nice bar and good food.
