Mijas Golf Club – Los Lagos is the older of Mjas's two popular golf courses, opening in 1976. Robert Trent Jones Snr's design principle was 'difficult par, easy bogey' and Los Lagos is a perfect example. The nine lakes that give the golf course its name are not too hard to avoid if you want to play safe; but a more aggressive line brings them all in to play.

    A fairly attractive parkland course but not so special to travel a long distance for. As with all courses in this area, it is very expensive compared to courses or equal quality in the UK.
