What we say
Marbella Golf & Country Club opened in 1994 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr and bears his hallmarks – expansive fairways, big sloping greens and stacks of bunkers to set up the target play. Extra trouble comes from the gulleys that need carrying on the front nine and the seagulls, who have a bad habit of nicking your ball!

We played three courses in Andalucia, this was by far and away the best. Great holes, excellent facilites, reasonably priced in comparison to the others, plenty of WOW factor here. Would definetely play this again, some of the holes are spectacular and challenging.

First impressions were very good. Lovely clubhouse as you drive up the entrance road. The Pro shop was very well staffed and stocked. The course was the best I played on a 7 day tour. It was also incredibily the least expensive of the 7 courses we played, as we got a very good deal with booking well in advance. Very well maintained throughout the course, with plenty of fantastic views and water features. If I had the choice next time I would play this course at least 3 out of the 7 days.
