La Cala Campo (Europa)

What we say

La Cala Campo (Europa), Robinson's third and newest golf course, offers a fairer challenge to the golfer while rarely throttling back on the excitement. Wider fairways and bigger greens give you confidence, but the steep terrain keeps things tricky and visually stunning. An extra hazard, the River Ojen, is well used (in play on eight holes) and provides welcome variety to the La Cala experience.

Did not play the other courses at La Cala but this must be tough if the Europa is the easiest. Handicaps in our group ranges from 1 to 24 and all had a good day. Course in great condition and designed to make you think your way round.

  • 5 out of 5 Tough Course

    By R0bertsonS

Before going to La Cala resort I had read many comments on the three courses all saying that Europa was the poorer and smaller of the three. Actually Europa is the longest of the three (off the yellows) and is a real pick your way round course. The views on Europa are outstanding and should not be missed. It is quite a climb, so much so they use petrol buggies on Europa as apposed to the battery versions they allocate to America and Asia. All in all a great course and resort

  • 4 out of 5 Not quite America

To call Europa the weakest of the La Cala course doesn't do the course justice, it just so happens that it's 2 sister courses are even better. Definately worth taking in while on the costa, but make sure you play America and Asia too.

All 3 courses are tough my favourite being South, then North and finally Europe not for high handicaps.
