Pine Cliffs Golf Course
Last updated:
What we say
It may be a short one but Pine Cliffs Golf Course arguably boasts one of the the most recognised – and feared – single golf holes in Portugal. The spectacular 224-yards par-3 9th – Devil’s Parlour – is worth the green fee alone though that probably depends on whether your heroic attempt to find the narrow green nestling snugly next to the hotel beyond a dramatic gaping ravine has come off… or not.

Pine Cliffs Golf Course opened in 1990 and was built by leading British golf course designer Martin Hawtree. Excellently manicured 9 hole course. Played amongst the pine trees with spectacular views of the Atlantic from the cliff top holes. Best feature is the 6th hole, 'the Devil's parlour', a 200 metre Par 3 over the cliffs.

Short but quite tight golf course, greens and tees in superb condition. Take your camera, the views on holes 8 & 9 are breath taking.
-
Excellent family holiday golf course, not too long but fairly tight and in first class condition. My 10 year old son loves the course and the golfing academy there.

Beautifully manicured. Good test of golf despite being only 9 holes.
