What we say
Known as ‘Roveri’, this Torino course stays Italy’s No.1 in the eyes of the Golf World Magazine panel. It has the feel of an ancient course formed at the turn of the century – and that is a compliment when you discover it was only in 1971 that Robert Trent Jones Snr laid it out in an old hunting reserve near the Alps.

Blissfully quiet and incredible value when you consider that the green fee entitles you to a day of golf. The course is nicely laid out, some testing holes. The clubhouse has a terrific restaurant. My first experience of Italian golf and I came away very pleased indeed.
