Jack Barrell

Jack Barrell is our VPN Commercial Content Writer. In this role, he is hands-on when it comes to producing best-of articles, how-to guides, and product reviews for Virtual Private Networks. He joined Bauer in 2023.

Jack has a BA in Media and Communications and an MA in Publishing. Since graduating, he spent two years as a Freelance Content Writer, building up a portfolio and gaining vital experience as a writer. Jack has produced website content for an e-commerce health and fitness brand, an independent gym and even a commercial catering company.

Wearing the title of movie/tv nerd like a badge of honour, he lives for all things Star Wars and is practically a walking encyclopaedia. If it has the logo on it, Jack will watch it, read it, collect it and he’ll peep a conversation a mile off.

Jack preaches that anyone with a passion is a nerd though, as he is also invested in the gym and keeping in shape, as well as fashion and performance cars.

His playlist is dominated by hip-hop and rap. Despite being fiercely loyal to his favourite artists, he loves trying out new music and will never turn down a suggestion.
